Procedure 3A: Packaged Products for Package Deliveries 150 lb (70 kg) or Less (Standard, Small, Flat, or Oblong).
Test Procedure 3A is a general simulation test for single packaged products shipped via a package delivery system. The test is suitable for four different package types that are typically distributed as individual packages either by air or ground. The types include standard, small, flat and long packages. Basic requirements: atmospheric preconditioning, random vibration with and without top load, and shock testing.
