Profile thickness gauge
GPA-CAP
The laboratory thickness gauge determines the thickness profile of a film strip. Here, a strip cut out of the film tube is measured automatically. The laboratory device is equipped with two sensors, a non-contact capacitive sensor and a probe for absolute measurement. The capacitive sensor is calibrated by measuring a small section of the film with both sensors. To facilitate handling, all movement processes are automated. Practical accessories, such as a stand and PC software, extend the performance of this device. Instead of the capacitive measurement, a standard-compliant measurement can also be performed.
